The UNICEF Tap Project launched in 2007 with a simple thought: what if restaurants gave patrons the option to pay $1 for the glass of drinking water they would usually get for free. (check out the case study below)
And in its fifth year we wanted to show people that even this seemingly insignificant act – ordering a glass of water – could have a huge impact. That with just one, little glass of water you could help 40 kids on the other side of the planet.
In just one week, we raised more than $750,000 for kids in need. That’s 30 million glasses of clean drinking water, one glass at a time.
